An Album to Remember

November 23rd, 2013

album to remember blog post vancouver orgainzer

We’re four weeks into November which means this is the fourth Blog Post all about managing your memorabilia. How are you doing? Have you sorted through your photos? Been brave enough to part with sentimental things you didn’t really need? Or are you still feeling stuck on getting your memorabilia act together?

As a professional organizer, I try to brainstorm many solutions for your organizing dilemmas. Perhaps you’re ready for a different approach that would allow you to still physically connect with your memories and the stories they tell, but in a dramatically clutter-free format.

I love a printable photo book, like this Apple option, which you can make quickly and easily directly from your iPhoto account. Apple makes it very user-friendly with a variety of templates and options to arrange the photos or add captions. If you don’t have an iPhoto account, Shutterfly is another online option that is quite popular.

By creating a photo scrapbook you have a beautifully organized keepsake for yourself and something you can also email to your tech-savvy family members. As we approach the holiday season, add one extra to your online cart and voila – a great holiday gift idea for that special someone who will love and cherish the captured memories.

All November we are tackling your mountains of memorabilia that often get ignored because you don’t have the proper organizing system on hand. Join me this month on my website for weekly Blog Posts with ideas and tips to ensure your precious memories and collectibles aren’t cluttering your space. Don’t forget to Like us on Facebook for more decluttering tips and elegant advice for organizing your home, office, and your life.
