As a busy woman who owns her own business, I often get advice from friends about the latest de-stressing health trends.

Last year the constant push was meditation. It came at me from all sides. One time, I arrived back at my vehicle to see a meditation flyer stuck under the windshield wipers.

At first I bristled and couldn’t comprehend how on earth I would find time in my schedule to just, well, breathe. However, after some time, I came around and understood how the guiding principles of meditation could really be a wonderful addition to my life.

The key was I took meditation and made it work for me. I take deep breaths before I go to bed. I enjoy a little break in my car when I get home at the end of the day, before I go into my home.

Now, it’s your turn to consider how meditation and other essential elements of life – love, touch, exercise, peace, space – can be incorporated into your life. I promise your days have the ability to expand and your life will be so much more abundant.
